Every time I buy mac & cheese, I see this on the box.
Do I have to?
Why do I have to put my thumb there? I don’t understand.
Is this the way I am supposed to open the box?
That kind of hurt.
Because this seems to work just fine for me.
Don't the noodles fall into the boiling water just the same?
And I have to get the cheese packet out anyway.
But maybe I’m doing it wrong.

They need to change this–it hardly ever works neatly and I feel like I’m doing it wrong too–LOL!! One of life’s little frustrations!

Well, I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one.
I swear that I’m going to die a death by Mac and Cheese preparation…………I jab it w/ a knife to open it and in most cases, practically cut my hand open. Mac and Cheese preparation should not be so difficult.

OMGosh! Me too. Then I finally thought, “Why am I dirtying a perfectly clean knife just to open a box when I can open it the way I open every other box in my life.” So now I’m living on the edge & NOT following those stupid thumb directions.
