Fins to the left! Fins to the right!

All three of my kids inherited something from me.

It’s a little weird, but I think it happens fairly often.

I distinctly remember sitting in my 1st grade class when I felt something in my mouth. My tongue rubbed up against my gums – right behind my bottom front teeth.

I thought it was a popcorn kernel lodged in my gums. It was the only thing that made since to me sitting at my desk.

Once I got home & looked in the mirror, I was horrified! I saw something like this picture of Blake’s mouth.

(And yes. He's very tongue tied too. But it doesn't interfere with speech or eating.)

Yep. All of my kids & I had 2 rows of teeth for a short period of time.

I refer to us as sharks.

Hey! I should call Blake Shark Boy from The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. It’s a pretty popular movie in this house.

Or maybe all those years looking like this have come back to haunt me!

Ok, first of all LOVE your Buffett concert pic. I grew up on Jimmy and his music…nothing like him or his concerts!!!!!

And my daughter had this happen too! With both bottom teeth – lol!!!

I thought it wasn’t too uncommon. When I searched for that “shark teeth” picture, lots of kids pictures came up!

Can you tell that those are my 2 sisters? Yeah… pretty obvious. We go every year. And I bet Blake has more “shark teeth” before too long. He’s 5, and this is his 1st adult tooth.
