Will you help?

Something has been on my mind lately…

There is this acquaintance of mine. She is about 40 years old. She has 4 busy kids (ages 7 – 17 ish) one of which is Lucas’s age. As a matter of fact, her husband is the head coach of Lucas’s Lightning team I often talk about.

The week before Thanksgiving this woman found out that she has an inoperable brain tumor.

She is often dizzy, and her vision has been severely effected. She was told she will never drive again.

I’ll spare you other details, but she goes to Champaign (about an hour & a half drive one way) every day for radiation. She also takes daily chemo pills.

With all of that driving – her adorable older parents take her, I believe – I’m sure gas is adding up quickly.

So…. I got to thinking.

What if a bunch of us pool our money together to get her some gas gift cards?

If 100 people give $10 each, we could give her $1,000!

And the best part?

I want to do it anonymously… Just mail the gift cards to her in the mail.
