Meet the Haglers

I’m Jill… the voice of  Hagler Happenings.

With 3 busy kids, a handy-man husband, and a rambunctious dog , there is no time for frilly or foofy. Hagler Happenings is filled with stories of my journey through this gig called adulthood. Motherhood, marriage, and must-haves are the heart of my blog, with a bit of craftiness and sarcasm thrown in all while telling it as it is.

As if being a wife and a mother aren’t enough, I stay busy with a few other things:

- Bags by Jill Custom made personalized items. You design it… I make it!

- I am also a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist. I teach people who are blind who to successfully navigate their environments.

Alex is our provider. He is a hard worker, a total handy man, and most importantly an amazing father. He does everything with his kids in mind. I’m very lucky to have a husband who so wants to be a part of our kids’ everyday lives.

Lucas (or Luke) is a typical first born child – perfectionist, people pleaser, reliable, likes to be in control, & needs routine. He is good at just about everything he tries. He is 10 y.o. now, which seems crazy to me. And he makes me proud everyday. Lucas enjoys sports, video games, sports, and video games.

(age 8 ) She is our little cat – she can climb up and curl into any space. Morgan is Little Miss Independent. But she’s magnetic. Everyone smiles when Morgan is around. She is into dancing, cheering, American Girl dolls, and her DS.

He’s our goofy monkey, maybe even a beast. Blake is very entertaining at age 5. Blake always has an object, either a movie, shirt, or a toy that he keeps with him. He is definitely the exclamation mark at the end of our family!
